Description

Whether you are considering a new challenge, just planning ahead, or unhappy with where you are now, it’s always the right time to pay attention to whether our work is the right ‘fit’. We all have things that we do very well and should have a job that needs our skills. Just as importantly, we need to make sure our job is a good match with our interests and that the workplace culture is one that is aligned with what we value.

Even in economically-challenged times, we need work that is the best match we can find that uses the unique skills and qualities we bring to the table. Unless we are very clear about our transferable skills, our interests and values, and how to go about creatively researching possible opportunities, we are at a disadvantage. We spend too much of our waking time at work to not be gaining satisfaction from what we do - even when it is critical that we have an income!

This class will help with developing a practical approach.
