Description

Join us for lunch as we hear from two amazing Yale employees who will speak about the essential toolset for career mobility at Yale, as well as provide advice on taking advantage of the University’s benefits as a young professional. Come with questions!

Adriene Radcliffe, Collaboration and Social Media Evangelist in the ITS Office of the CIO will not only discuss her attention-grabbing title at the University, but how she got there. Adriene has held 19 different positions at Yale University, giving hope to the young professionals at Yale who feel career mobility is hopelessly unattainable. Adriene will be sharing her journey with us, as well as providing the tools needed to jump-start the process for yourself.

Susan West, Associate Director for Strategic Communications in the ITS Office of the CIO will also discuss her position at the University, but her main focus will be taking advantage of the benefits at Yale. Susan is a young professional at Yale who has utilized many of the benefits we are offered, such as purchasing a home with Yale’s Employee Homebuyer Program. Susan was as new to Connecticut as she was to Yale when she began her career here, and was able to immediately leverage her opportunities in order to participate in the Yale and New Haven communities on a limited budget. Susan will share her experiences with us, as well as the budget-friendly entertainment options she’s uncovered.

Lunch will be provided.
