Description

On November 6, 2014 the International Institute for Learning (IIL) will host International Project Management Day (IPMDAY) 2014Power of the Profession.  This event is a free, virtual online conference featuring 4 live keynotes (with Q&A), along with recorded video presentations from subject matter experts and thought leaders from around the world.  Some sample topics include: Triumph over Risk and Uncertainty for a Sustainable future, Use SharePoint as More than a Document Repository to Effectively Manage Projects, PPM - A Strategic Competence and Transforming the Organization while Implementing its Strategy.

The International Institute for Learning (IIL) is a leader in enhancing the skills of the professional project manager and has been a significant supporter of the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation, an organization dedicated to learning, knowledge and worldwide recognition.  The IIL supports project managers and project teams in every industry including non-profit and health care organizations that contribute time, energy, creativity, innovation, and countless hours to deliver products, services, facilities, and provide emergency and disaster recovery services in every city and community around the world.

The IPMDAY is intended to encourage organizations that utilize project management methodologies to schedule some type of recognition event within their organizations or coordinated locally with others to truly demonstrate appreciation for the achievements of project managers and their teams.   It is open to project and program managers or anyone interested in the discipline.

Please join the Yale Project Management (PM) Community of Practice at West Campus as we share in this learning experience.  This is an all-day event, running from 8:30 to 5:00 on 11/6.  For those requiring PDU’s for their PMP certification, you may claim up to 12 PDU’s for this event.  Lunch will be provided.  This is a great opportunity to further our education and network with our colleagues.  We do have limited capacity, so please use the following link to sign up through TMS if you are planning to join us at West Campus.  We will use this signup list to provide updates and details as we get closer.
