The Asian Network at Yale (ANY) is excited to sponsor China’s South China Sea Band to perform the Maritime Silk Road Concert at Yale. The band is currently touring in the US and Canada and will be performing a free concert at Yale on Thursday. They are looking forward to having a cultural exchange with the Yale community.
The concert is a celebration of the maritime silk road that happened along the South China Sea. Most people know about the Silk Road, but there was also a maritime silk road along the coast that facilitated cultural exchanges between China and the rest of the world.
