Description

One of the most important roles and greatest challenges is our ability to communicate effectively. We often find ourselves in a role because we have excelled in our previous position as the technician. We have had little or no training in how to communicate clearly and directly, a key quality in successful communication.

The single most important skill in leadership is effective communication, especially in the area of giving constructive feedback. Very often the difficult interaction or tough conversation is avoided. The result can be the continuation of lack of improvement in a problem area, a lack of trust, reduced productivity and/ or increased hostility in a relationship.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Address communication issues
  • Learn about different communication styles
  • Gain specific phrases and techniques for providing constructive feedback
  • Participate in experiential activities and exercises practicing your communication skills
