FLY is supporting the American Cancer Society and participating in Relay For Life at Yale, and we would love for you to join or support our team!
Every Relay For Life event is a time for our University to honor cancer survivors, remember those lost to this disease, and raise funds and awareness to help end cancer forever. We’ll be walking around, enjoying music and games, and hanging out, all while making a difference and having tons of fun.
By joining our Relay For Life team and helping us fundraise, more people will:
- Have the information and tools they need to avoid getting cancer or find the disease early, when it’s easiest to treat
- Have a place to turn for help 24/7
- Benefit from the progress being made toward finding cancer’s causes and cures
- Get access to lifesaving screenings and treatment
Too many people will be touched by cancer this year. Our Relay For Life event is our opportunity to inspire hope by raising funds and awareness to help those facing the disease. Plus you will get an awesome FLY t-shirt. I hope you will join us!
Relay for Life will take place on April 15 from 6 to 11:30 pm at Payne Whitney Gym. Friends and family are welcome.
