Description

Effective communication skills are an essential element every employee and manager must have as part of their standard tool set. This workshop will include a introduction to core topics, a self-assessment, and role-playing activities. You will gain practical experience initiating and responding to various forms of communication and will collaborate with others to improve the effectiveness of your communication style and approach. The components of a successful conversation include; the Speaker sending a message, the Receiver is listening to the message, and both checking for clarity and understanding.
 
Course Objectives: 
Learn & Practice the Sender/Receiver Communication Model 
Build Awareness of Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication Cues 
Review Tips and Techniques for Successful Communications
