Go Ahead, Throw a Pie at a Boss

Following Peter Salovey’s kick-off of this year’s United Way campaign last week, Information Technology Services (ITS) invited staff to help kick off its United Way campaign with a pizza party and pie-throwing contest. The Nov. 12 event supported Yale’s continued efforts to “Give Every Child a Chance” (a United Way-funded initiative) and provided Yale staff with the opportunity to sign up to toss pies at a boss. For each toss, a contribution was made to the United Way of Greater New Haven.
