Dear Colleague:

One of Yale’s organizational improvement priorities is to build the capacity to fill most of our manager and professional promotional job openings from inside the University. In the past several years, we have achieved an approximately 50% internal placement rate (which is substantially above historic levels), but we aspire to reach the two-thirds level. The realization of this goal requires an even greater knowledge of the backgrounds and skills of internal candidates than our current systems provide.

This is where you can help. To make sure your personal background information (education, Yale positions, and pre-Yale career experience) is complete and up to date, please visit our talent profile website before the Thanksgiving break. If your information is not yet in the system, it would be greatly appreciated if you might take a few minutes to add it. To access the system, visit Staffing & Career Development and select “Edit your profile.”
