Yale Summer Cabaret is offering a special offer to members of the Yale Affinity Groups for their adaptation of Christopher Marlowe’s classic play DOCTOR FAUSTUS at the Cabaret.
Doctor Faustus is the perpetual grad student who signs away his soul in exchange for knowledge and experience in this classic play. Director Andrej Visky leads the Rough Magic ensemble in a radical new adaptation, employing both actors and puppets, to create an epic, fantastical, constantly shifting stage-space. Prepare to laugh, gasp and shiver as we tackle this tale of the world gone to Hell. With a hand puppet.
The show runs 90 minutes and is performed without intermission. Dinner and drinks are available before the show, beginning at 5:30 on Tuesday and drinks, desserts and appetizers are available starting at 9:00 pm on Friday.
