Thanksgiving is approaching and the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) is seeking members of the Yale community (staff, faculty and alumni) to host one or more international students and scholars for our Thanksgiving Dinner at Home program.
It is an opportunity for international students and scholars and their families to share this traditional American holiday and to experience the warmth and generosity of the local community. Each year students and scholars tell us how much they appreciated and enjoyed being a part of a Thanksgiving celebration. If you have room at your Thanksgiving table for an international student/scholar, please fill out the online host registration form.
Hosts will receive the name(s) and contact information of their guest(s) after the matches have been made a week before Thanksgiving at the latest. If you have any questions, please contact program coordinator Maria Gutierrez at maria.gutierrez@yale.edu.
