In partnership with Saint Ann’s Church, United Way of Greater New Haven will be hosting a weekly food pantry distribution starting on Monday, July 6th in Hamden. Volunteers will be needed from 9:15 - 11:30 am to get food to those in need! Specific volunteer needs include:
- Bilingual volunteers are needed, however dual language skills are not required
- Volunteers must be able to lift a 15lb. box
- Volunteers must be generally healthy, not immunocompromised in any way, and have no exhibited symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, coughing, shortness of breath) in the past two weeks
This in-person volunteer opportunity will incorporate social distancing measures to ensure that we can deliver vital support in the safest way possible.
