What is the Young Professionals Symposium?
The Young Professionals Symposium is an opportunity for young professionals from across the state to connect for an engaging conversation. It is a free one-day event that includes a keynote talk and panel, breakout sessions, and a networking happy hour.
Last year FLY and Connecticut Young Professionals (CTYP) hosted the symposium at Yale. We brought in state and local politicians to hear about what they were doing to attract and retain young professionals. Breakout session topics covered both professional and personal development tools such as networking, public speaking, and marketing yourself.
This year FLY looks forward to teaming up with CTYP and the UCONN Graduate Student Senate to bring you a great lineup in October 2016 based on your feedback. Thank you for taking the time to complete our survey!
