Call for Volunteers: Junior Achievement

October 21, 2015

Junior Achievement is a non-profit that partners business professionals and community members with schools to provide educational programs centered around financial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship. Programs are available to students in Kindergarten through Grade 12.   Why volunteer for JA? Now more than ever young people need help understanding how to make their way in the world. Studies show they are confused about managing money, unclear about what it means to succeed in the world of work and unaware of the entrepreneurial opportunities our economic system offers them. By volunteering you not only provide them with JA curriculum that instill these lessons, you also share your personal real life experience. You show them firsthand what it is to be successful and how to get there.   If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, email Amy Shah and check out the attached files.
