9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

Community members are invited to take part in an event on Wednesday, Sept. 11 marking the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.
 
The Yale Student Veterans Council, in conjunction with Yale ROTC, will pay tribute to those that lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001 — including at least nine Yale alumni — with a ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on Beinecke Plaza. The event will include participation in the national moment of silence, as directed by the president of the United States, and the raising of the flag to half-mast.
