Description

Julia’s run for children is held in the memory of Julia Rusinek, who was a rising senior at Yale University at the time of her death in July 1999. This event celebrates Julia’s life by combining Julia’s passion for running with her commitment to making a difference in the lives of children.

The Fun Run will start at 9:30 am and the 4-Mile Run will start at 10:00 am. 4-Mile run is an out and back course beginning and ending at Yale University’s Cross Campus. Course weaves through one of New Haven’s most scenic neighborhoods.

First 250 participants receive a free race shirt. Participants are welcome to run, jog, or walk.

Raceday Schedule:

7:45-9:45am - Registration, bib and t-shirt pickup at Woolsey Hall, Cross Campus

9:30am - Kids Fun Run (.7 miles) ages 12 & under

10:00am - 4-Mile Run/Walk

10:30am - Awards ceremony, refreshments and raffle
