Yale Farm Afternoon: Harvest Help & Pizza Party

Get your hands dirty with FLY!

The Yale Farm is a lush and productive academic farm that produces dozens of varieties of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers, and is home to free-range laying hens and honeybees. We’ll be helping workers to harvest their fall crop. 

Afterwards, as part of the  knead 2 know series, Yale undergraduates will present briefly on food systems followed by pizza and music. The pizza dough is made from scratch and topped with farm ingredients before being cooked in a wood fired oven. Gluten free and vegan options are always available. 

Schedule:

• 3-4:30pm Farming
• 4:30pm Knead 2 Know presentation and pizza party

No gardening experience is necessary. Just bring a water bottle and wear weather- and work-appropriate clothing.
