The Yale Veterans Association (YVA) and the Association of Yale Alumni (AYA) are working together to organize and host on campus the first Yale Veterans Summit (April 10-11, 2015). Entitled Bridging the Divide: The Way Forward in US Civil-Military Relations, this inaugural event will be held on campus at Yale University.
The aim of the Summit is to address the most pressing issues and challenges facing military veterans today, including homelessness, education, unemployment and healthcare. The Summit also seeks to propose solutions that will help ensure that all who have served in uniform have the requisite resources to reintegrate successfully back to civilian life and continue to contribute as societal leaders.
